OUR MATERIALS

The first step in our design process is the choice of fabrics, an essential element to ensure longevity of the garments we make.

At Bottega Bernard we carefully search high-quality, environmentally friendly Italian fabrics and raw materials, which we select with passion and dedication in the textile district of Prato.

In our collections we prefer natural, organic and recycled fibres, and we use exclusively end-cycle fabrics, namely leftovers or overproductions from luxury fashion brands, to which we want to give a new lease of life.

This choice is part of the essence of Bottega Bernard: investing time and creativity to restore dignity to fabrics that would otherwise go to waste, giving them a new purpose. In doing so, we avoid the production of new materials and minimize our environmental impact.
